Babolat Pure Drive GT

Published by admin under Tennis

babolatpuredriveBabolat launches on the market the new Pure Drive GT, the special model that in 15 years has sold about one million and a half pieces.

The 2009 version is more rigid and stable than the previous one. In essence, the more “athletic” It is the tennis racket symbol of the new millennium, the Babolat Pure Drive, used by over a million fans, from a Rafa Nadal Carlos Moya, to reach athletes and amateur players of the tennis club.

The 2009 release proposes a new version, called the GT. The main difference compared to the previous model is the tungsten fibers that have been intertwined with those classic carbon ones in the area of the head of the racket, to make the frame more stable so to obtain a more accurate shot.

The weight remained unchanged (322 grams incordata) as the other basic characteristics like the length (68.5 cm), oval (100 square inches) and the pattern (16 x 19).

The anti-vibration system Cortex is just above the handle and breaks in two chassis to prevent the harmful vibration and increase the comfort, while the Woofer System leaves and interact rope frame for a “ball exit” quicker and more responsive.

In the field, the racket is moving with great dexterity. Excellent relationship between power and control, is especially suited to players who like to push with top spin or amateur looking for a comfortable and easy to manage frame.

There is another version of about 15 grams heavier, used by top 10 World Andy Roddick, for those seeking the same feelings but with even greater ability to push. If the arm supports the weight gain is a valid proposal.

As for the rope to fit, you can choose: the pure agonist may also use a Continue reading »

Tiger’s Alignment: Address and Impact

Published by admin under Golf

tiger0The images besides from the WGC-CA Championship at Doral on 3/15/2009 illustrate why it can be difficult to maintain clubface alignment from address to impact.

This is the same view of address with red lines showing where the hands, shoulders, leading arm, and shaft will be at impact.

The red lines in the next photo indicate how the shoulders, arms, hands, and club have changed position at impact. The leading shoulder has raised approximately 18 degrees. The hands have moved forward, and the angle between the leading arm and shaft has been reduced to a straight line to the ball.

The yellow lines show an angle of about 25 degrees between the leading forearm and the back of the left hand at address.

Angel Eye: swimming safety

Published by admin under Swim

Safe public pools with Angeleye It is essential to give swimmers certainty, peace of angel1mind, and the awareness of being in a facility where the safety level is high and one’s safeness is constantly monitored as far as the greatest danger is concerned: drowning.

Monitoring the pools by qualified personnel is a somewhat difficult activity, as the bottom of the pool is hard to see (because reflected light, waves and floating swimmers do not always permit a full view of the activities at the bottom of the pool). Distraction is also a factor.

Thanks to the AngelEye new visual technology, a new lifeguard monitors all the activities at the pool. This safety system has been specifically designed to control the activity of the swimmers in the swimming facilities.

It can evaluate dangerous situations and let the lifeguards know that there is an unsafe situation in progress. This is accomplished by means of hand-held devices in a quick and effective manner, thus providing immediate and focused assistance. The implementation of the AngelEye drowning detection system is composed of three phases:

- a layout design is developed according to the plan of the pools

- installation on the walls of the pool of specific detection portholes (available in two models: deck hatch or niche portholes)

- housing of the central unit and the associated connection to the detection and warning devices of the AngelEye system. The designers will fine tune the system to make sure it works under any brightness and pool attendance conditions, up to and including the final testing and inspection. The company also offers assistance and support services.
